N. B.:

1. Each student of Honours Course will have to opt for two General Subjects, and each student of General Course will have to opt for three General Subjects.
2. A student from any discipline can opt for Economics as an Honours subject. There is no restriction of having Mathematics as one of the subjects in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
3. Honours in Economics having mathematics as a subject in the higher secondary or equivalent examination are subject to be awarded B. Sc. degree.
4. A student of Honours Course in any subject will not be eligible to opt for Geography as a Combination Subject.
5. No student will be allowed to opt for Economics and Sanskrit together as Combination Subjects.
6. No student of General Course will be allowed to opt for more than one of the following subjects: (a) Elective Bengali, (b) Elective English & (c) Sanskrit.
7. A student of General Course who opts for Geography will be selected on the basis of merit from the Admitted students on completion of Admission as & when notified by the college.
